GrammatikIndirekte Rede

Indirekte Rede gibt wieder, was jemand gesagt hat: She said (that) she was tired. Der Motor ist der Backshift — die Zeitformen rücken eine Stufe zurück (is → was, will → would, has done → had done), Pronomen und Zeitangaben wandern mit (tomorrow → the next day).
